Advantages & Disadvantages of Riviera Maya All Inclusives

What could be better than all you can eat and drink for your whole vacation?

An All-Inclusive Resort in Riviera Maya is a good option for a vacation that is luxurious yet economical, and relaxed yet fun.

But it’s important to know what you really want from your Riviera Mayan vacation and what each all-inclusive resort offers to make sure you get what you want.

Here are some of the advantages and disadvantages of staying in a Riviera Maya all inclusive resort:

Advantages Disadvantages
Money You have a good idea of how much you will be spending on your vacation. You may not always get the exact food, drinks, and activities you want.
Relaxation vs Boredom You can relax and enjoy the resort. You may feel limited in the options you and get bored.
Activities Most all-inclusives have a free nightclub, classes, resort sport competitions, and general activities. Excursions, scuba diving, and out-of-resort activities are paid for separately.
Food Amenities You don’t have to spend your vacation time deciding restaurants, outings, and locations. You may not know exactly what you’re getting. Advertised food and amenities may show specialty options that are not included in the package.

It’s always important to thoroughly read what is being offered to make sure you’re getting what you want. If something is not listed, don’t assume it’s included.  Always ask beforehand.

Have you stayed in an Riviera Maya all inclusive? Did you enjoy it?
